Meaningful Use

Why certification is important, and what it all means – at a glance.

As part of President Obama’s economic stimulus package officially known as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (or ARRA), approximately $20 billion has been allocated to entice hospitals and physicians to adopt healthcare information technologies such as Electronic Health Records(EHR)/Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and e-Prescribing. At least $17.2 billion of this money will be available as incentives through the Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement systems to assist providers in adopting EHRs. Some people refer to this program as HITECH.

Meta Healthcare IT Solutions will guide you through the reimbursement process.

Our trained experts will guide you step-by-step through the ARRA HITECH reimbursement process and help you navigate to achieve successful “meaningful use.” Our premiere MetaCare Enterprise EHR suite received Complete EHR ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 Certification by Infoguard. This means that it is officially recognized as an authorized E.H.R vendor, enabling providers to meet the Stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify for funding under ARRA. Meta’s CMS EHR Certification ID is 30000004JD6JEAG.

MetaCare Enterprise EHR is HIPAA compliant and secure.
